The Newspaper Licensing Agency (NLA) was established by the UK 's national newspapers in 1995 to manage copyright collection. It authorises paper and digital copying on behalf of national, regional and international newspapers, including 1300 in the UK , for over 6000 corporate clients. At the launch of the Journalism Diversity Fund, at the Society of Editors' conference in 2005, the NLA pledged to support the ongoing development and financing of the fund. www.nla.co.uk

The National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) is recognised inside and outside the media industry as the primary body for developing qualified journalists. The Journalism Diversity Fund is managed and administered on behalf of the industry by the NCTJ. www.nctj.com
